Cardinal started because we wanted better tools for running our own collectible business. We wanted to know what we owned, what we'd paid, what it was worth and whether a deal made sense before shaking hands.

We were doing it with spreadsheets, screenshots and a lot of guessing. It worked until it didn't — a good trade would come along at a show and there was no honest way to check the maths in the thirty seconds you actually have.

So we built the thing we needed. Cardinal runs our own buying and selling every week. Now we're opening it up to other vendors, one environment at a time.
